Advantage Healthcare Systems is considered an essential business and is open for business. We are continuing to closely monitor Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates through the Dallas County Health and Human Services Department and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Given the number of people who live and travel in and out of Texas, this is not a surprising development.
This particular virus has obviously raised anxiety levels among staff and patients. Our commitment to you, as leaders, is to stay abreast of the latest developments, take the necessary precautions, plan for any contingency, expand our cleaning protocols, encourage proper hygiene to prevent the spread of disease and help our patients and staff understand this situation without creating an unhealthy level of concern. We are doing our best to balance these significant responsibilities.
We are making additional access at all of our locations including Telehealth and Telemedicine appointments (online services) for most of our providers.
What we are doing to keep our staff and patients safe.
We are following the CDC’s approach to this pandemic and this is what we are doing to keep you safe:
- Temperature checking: We are testing our team each day to make sure they are not running fevers
- Our team is wearing gloves and changing them with each patient
- Our team are wearing N95 mask when they are with patients
- We are sterilizing multiple times a day and in between each patient with our equipment
- If someone is feeling ill or believes they have been around someone that was exposed to the Coronavirus we are rescheduling their appointments to virtual appointments via online with our providers.
Our online services include medical evaluations, counseling, and group therapy.
For our patients, we encourage you to keep your recommended appointments, but if you exhibit signs of illness or believe you could have been exposed to COVID-19, our online services are available. Please contact the clinic to modify your appointment to a virtual appointment with your specific provider.
Please visit our locations page for the number to your nearest clinic, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 6 p.m.
